Bombay High Court

In acknowledgment of the state’s duty to provide sufficient pensions for retired High Court Justices, the Maharashtra government has decided to pay higher post-retirement benefits and allowances to the judges of the Bombay High Court.
For retiring Chief judges and Bombay High Court judges, the State will provide a stipend to cover expenses for housekeeping, a driver, and telephone service.
Additionally, their surviving wives would be eligible for this payout.
A chauffeur and domestic assistance would cost about INR 14,000, plus INR 6,000 for phone expenses.
The Union Ministry has increased the allowances list of retirement benefits. The new list includes pension payment, leave cashout, and gratuity for death or retirement.
